Nana and Shoji, Love's Whereabouts (奈々と章司、恋の行方 Nana to Shōji, koi no yukue) is the third episode of the Nana anime.

Plot[]

Nana K. with her friends goes to the beach. She learns that Junko, Kyosuke and Shoji all are planning to live in Tokyo to study at the art college. She says that she will move there too, to stay close with them. She got scolded for this, because she is too carefree and thoughtless about her future. Shoji feels bad for her and supports her idea to apply for all art colleges in Tokyo anyway. 

In Tokyo, Junko and Kyoske accepted to college, while Shoji and Nana K. not, but he's determined to go to associate art school for a year and try to get in the college next year. Nana K. says that she wants to do the same, but Shoji gets mad at her and tells her straightforwardly that she is overly dependent and just wants a man to support her. He leaves her alone on the street in Tokyo and returns to the hotel, where they all stayed. Junko dashes out, when she hears that he just left Nana K. alone. Later, discovers from Kyousuke, that she did not want to toy with his feelings, but instead actually loves him. Hachi is lost on the streets of Tokyo, but she encounters her estranged ex-lover Takashi Asano. Asano takes her to cafe for couple cups of coffee and she tells him why she is in Tokyo. During their conversation, she realizes that her love for him already in the past. He shows her the way to the hotel and they accidentally bumps into one of his colleagues. Thus, Nana K. learns that he really told her his real name. Reassured, she heads towards the hotel, but Kyosuke calls her by cellphone and tells her that Junko and Shoji are searching for her. She rushes back looking for Shoji. Eventually, they find each other.
