Bonus Pages or Bonus Page, also referred to as Junko's Place, Junko's Room, Junko's Bar or Junko's Snack Bar are located in the back of each volume of Nana. Junko Saotome hosts the bonus pages in her bar called "Junko's Place" on the seventh floor of the "Yazawa Building." The Family Times is a newspaper that is usually included along with the bonus pages. The newspaper is mysteriously delivered to Yazawa's characters at midnight.
Many of Ai Yazawa's previous characters can be found on the seven floors, such as "Noriji's Soba Spot," and "Bar Mamiya." The most famous being "Isabella Island," where Nana and Hachi are lost for numerous bonus pages.
The bonus pages are only absent in volume 20, because Ai Yazawa thought that it would be inappropriate due to the ending of the Chapter 77.

First bonus page

The very first bonus page was titled "Junko," possibly because both the prologue chapters are named after Nana Komatsu and Nana Osaki. Junko opens up the bar and Kyosuke, Shoji, and Nana stop by. The tone of the first bonus page sets a precedent for the rest.
Junko and Nana promote the release of the first volume of Paradise Kiss. References to Ai Yazawa's other series, Gokinjo Monogatari and Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai are made.

Volume 2[]
Nana Komatsu brings Nana Osaki to the grand opening of Junko's Place. The fan art wall and fan letters are featured for the first time. Junko leaves the bar to get Nana Osaki, when a mistake from volume 1 is read in a fan letter. Everyone else also leaves to go eat at Jackson, except Kyosuke, who informs Junko they went to go get more people.
Shoji promotes Jackson Hole, which is an actual place in Tokyo. P-chan's stuffed animal, Pucci Francois, makes a cameo appearance.

Yasushi Takagi and Nobuo Terashima go to visit Junko's Place for the first time. They arrive only to find the place closed. Junko is in fact eating at Jackson Hole as shown in the last panel.
The sign of the Yazawa Building is shown for the first time, however in the English edition, the sign is left untranslated. The running gag of Yasu smoking next to non-smoking signs is continued in the bonus pages.

Volume 4[]
Nana reads Paradise Kiss

Nana Komatsu reads the third volume of Paradise Kiss and appears to have become infatuated with George Koizumi. The fan art wall is covered in art of Sachiko Kawamura, which the other characters distract Nana from by having her read fan mail. Nobu reads a post card that talks about the Bar Mamiya and Sobadokoro Noriji, which prompts Nana to look at the building sign in volume 3. She decides to visit the sixth floor, Isabella's Island to see George. Nana Osaki tags along to replace the Black Stones guitarist, Nobu with Arashi Nagase.
The sign of the Yazawa Building from the third volume is translated in the English edition. Several characters from Yazawa's other series, Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai, Gokinjo Monogatari, Kagen no Tsuki and Paradise Kiss are referenced.

In the English edition the bonus pages are titled "Bonus Pages – Junko's Snack Bar" in volume 5. Yuko Mamiya visits Junko's Place, she admires the fan art and drops off the new edition of the Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai manga.
Nobu and Yasu arrive, and Junko immediately confronts them about a fan postcard citing an error made by Yasu in chapter 13. Nobu defends Nana Komatsu in the next postcard to which Junko says "You like her, don't you?" Yasu tells Junko they should probably save that for the main story. Junko starts to wonder where the two Nana's are, when it cuts to them lost in a forest.

Behind the scenes[]
The idea of "Junko's Room" pages might be based on the longest-running single-hosted TV talk show “Tetsuko no Heya” (literally “Tetsuko’s Room”)[2]. The show featured Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's[3] discussions with celebrities from various fields, including television, sport and politics. With her clipped speech, she has drawn out of the guests countless anecdotes related to their profession. She has also prompted them to speak about their personal problems and sometimes make surprise announcements. It was very successful, and holds the Guinness World Record for the most TV talk show episodes hosted by the same presenter.
Similar to the said show, on bonus pages, Junko and other Yazawa's characters discuss various things, their problems, fan-art, joke and make announcements.
